Short Story: My love of music began when I was a child, falling asleep in the back seat of my dad's 1975 Chevy Malibu listening to the Who on 8 track. Being only 5-years-old at the time I quickly switched my musical attention to the likes of Debbie Gibson and Madonna(much to my father's dismay, but hey, it was the 80's...forgive me). I playing viola in school when I was 8 and shortly thereafter picked a guitar at a rummage sale. The great turning point in my life that has molded my musical tastes forever was when I was 12 and I heard "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins for the first time. The rest, as they say, is history.

Specialties: Gibson Guitars, Mapex Drums, Seagull Acoustics, Peavey Products & Laney Amps
Music Education: My cousin gave my first guitar lessons to me when I was about 9 years old. I started taking guitar lessons at Music Go Round at 14. From age 15, I primarily taught myself to play guitar, bass and drums.
Favorite Gear: My Gibson guitars (1958 Reissue Les Paul, Flying V, 1983 Explorer, Firebird), Ibanez PS10 Paul Stanley signature Iceman (still waiting for), my Seagull Performer acoustic, my Mapex drums, my amp heads (Peavey Triple X, Laney GH100TI Tony Iommi signature model, Peavey Valveking Micro), Randall speaker cabs loaded with Celestion speakers, Fender Made in Japan Basses and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Short Story: I got my first guitar on my second birthday. I took a few lessons when I was nine but it didn't seem to click with me so I stopped playing. It wasn't until I was 14 and discovered KISS that I really wanted to start playing guitar. I joined my first band at 15 and have since taught myself, with the help of my best friend, how to play bass and drums. I got my start working in the musical instrument field at ShazRock Custom Paint & Guitar. There I learned so much about how guitars are made and what it takes to give a guitar a perfect finish. This helped me get my job here at Music Go Round. I really couldn't ask for two better jobs being a musician.
